From a very young age I have always been interested in the varied genres of art. As I grew older my interest shifted to photography and I began taking photographs of my family and friends with an Instamatic camera that I was given in the 80’s.

An opportunity arose to pursue my passion and explore a deeper understanding of photography professionally. With the support of my sisters and friends, I had the confidence to successfully apply to Derby College graduating with 3 distinctions stars then moving on to Derby University achieving a First-class honours degree.

I consider myself lucky to be able to connect and effortlessly build relationships with people within any given environment. With these skills I am able to create a confident body of work that illuminates the subject and illustrates the essence of their personality under the theme environment portraits;  from locations not just in England but also from my extensive travels around the world as well. My personal favourites are set in the Caribbean. 

During the last six years I have been fortunate to work with all sorts of diverse and amazing groups of people and companies. Such as local independently owned businesses to Community Groups, Authors, Dentists and also covering small events.

My approach is highly dependent on making my clients feel at ease and instilling confidence within the photographic art I create. By making people feel at ease, I can capture and convey further information about the subject being photographed. Thereby creating images that you need with very little fuss and equipment, whilst creating a high-quality professional end product.
